Xpert Private High School Partnership Agreement
New pathway enhances medical doctor career opportunities for Xpert students.
Medical University of the Americas (MUA) and Xpert Private High School (Xpert), a private high school in Brampton, Ontario, are proud to highlight the establishment of a new educational pathway agreement. Excitingly, this collaboration will provide eligible Xpert graduates, who aspire to become practicing physicians, with direct entry into MUA’s 6-Year BSc/MD Program, which grants both a Bachelor’s of Science and a Doctor of Medicine degree upon successful completion of the program.
As part of this partnership, eligible Xpert graduates who have successfully completed their Ontario Secondary School Diploma Program with a B average, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4-point scale (75%) or equivalent, will be able to join a program that helps them achieve their MD degree two years sooner than the traditional four years of undergraduate studies plus four years of medical school pathway. They will also benefit from a streamlined application review process, a guaranteed interview with the MUA admissions team and eligibility for up to $32,500 CAD in grants and scholarships. When combined with MUA’s extremely competitive tuition rates, this makes an MD education both accessible and affordable for all students.

*To receive direct entry, Xpert graduates must submit an application, submit high school degree graduation diploma and transcripts, satisfactorily complete a guaranteed interview with the MUA admissions team, and provide two letters of recommendation and a personal statement.
