
APPNA Partnership Agreement
Explore our collaboration with the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America.
GUS Medical and Veterinary Schools – Saba University School of Medicine, Medical University of the Americas and St. Matthew’s University – are pleased to share details about this exciting new partnership with the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA), the goal of which is to support future physicians and veterinarians from the Pakistani community. Benefits for eligible students include access to unique partnership scholarships, eligibility for existing merit-based scholarships, religious and cultural support, academic and personal mentorship, and priority clinical rotation placements at facilities associated with APPNA members.
In order to enter a GUS Med & Vet Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program via this partnership pathway, applicants must meet all eligibility and admissions requirements, including being a member or child of an APPNA member. Other requirements include maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, successfully completing all prerequisite coursework, submitting all required support documents (transcripts, letters or recommendations, personal statement, etc.) and undertaking an admissions interview.

This event helps foster connections between practicing and future medical experts, provides educational and career development opportunities, and exhibits cutting edge medical innovations and devices that will impact the field of medicine for years to come.
